Map Layout

AppAlloy Map Layout is an optimal choice when you want to display store locations, points of interest, or other geographically relevant data.

With AppAlloy map layout, each item is represented as a pin on the map, allowing users to explore and interact with the data dynamically.

Address Mapping

For this field, you define the column(s) that contains the address or data to contribute to the full address.

Click on the input field and build a formula of a complete address by adding columns and any text. AppAlloy will form the address based on the formula to generate the address, therefore, locate the items on the Map view precisely.

Item

Title

This is the primary text label displayed prominently within the list item. Keep it concise and informative, clearly indicating the location or landmark represented by the pin.

Line limitation: 1

Subtitle

The subtitle could be an address, a short description, or any other relevant information related to the location. Utilize this option to showcase supplementary information that enhances user understanding.

Line limitation: 2

Photo URL

This can showcase a photo representing the location (e.g., a restaurant storefront image). Utilize the provided aspect ratio options to ensure proper image display within the pin.

Formatting rules

The "Formatting Rules" setting allows you to create custom rules to highlight items with location pin on the map of the Map Layout. To configure the formatting rules:

  • Click the + button

  • For the If the expression is true, click the PowerFX input field, write the PowerFX formula, or describe your requirement to the AI Copilot. Then click Save.

  • Also, choose the icon and color for the location pin of the satisfied items on the map.
