Manage Gmail Integration

Gmail integration refers to the ability to connect your Gmail account with other applications and services. This allows for a seamless exchange of data and functionalities between different platforms.

What is Gmail Integration?

Gmail integration is sending automated emails from AppAlloy to your users directly.

Send simple or detailed emails with ease. You can use Power Fx to customize email content based on user input, ensuring clear and informative communication.

Benefits of Gmail integration

  • Enhanced productivity: Automate tasks, save time, and improve efficiency by connecting Gmail with other tools.

  • Enriched user experience: Gmail integration is very convenient to staff, to ensure both brand professionalism and also to increase customer satisfaction in general.

Common Use Case

  • Customer Service: To send confirmation email that the CS team has received customer's message

  • CRM integration: Sync contacts, leads, and email interactions for better customer management.

  • Project management integration: Track email-based project updates and assign tasks within a project management tool.

  • Calendar integration: Schedule meetings directly from emails and manage your time effectively.

Integrate Gmail with AppAlloy

Platforms Integration Settings

From your Integration tab, click +button, then choose Gmail

Connect your Gmail account

Log in to your Gmail account, grant AppAlloy access to your account if you haven't accessed before.

If you've logged in your Gmail to use other integrations before, AppAlloy will automatically connec to your Gmail account.

Note: Remember to connect your Gmail account which will send emails on behalf of your app.

Set up Action to trigger Gmail

On Design tab, from Record View, choose +button next to Action section. Rename Title as 'Gmail', then click 'Configure' > '+Then' > 'Send an email' under Gmail

Edit email body

The mandatory fields include: Subject and Email body. You can manual type messages, or generate automatic message by supports from Copilot to write prompts using Power Fx.

To configure recipient, in the 'To' field, choose Row Data > Emails. It means that you have set to send mails to your responder via the email they have input to your app.

To configure sender, in the 'From' field, choose User > Email. It means that you have used your own email to send confirmation mail to your responder.

Make sure automated email is land to 'Inbox'

AppAlloy ensures your emails land in the inbox, not the spam folder, for easy access and increased credibility.

Simple click on 'Label', then choose 'Inbox', or pick different folder to organize automated emails.

Test your email

Test the message by click on '...' button on the bottom-left of your mobile preview screen, then choose 'Gmail'.

Your recipient should receive an email looked like this.
