Manage Users

Users are people who work as the editors of the app, as well as the members who play as users of the app. Learn to invite and manage people of your app.

You manage the people of your team and apps in the tab Users on the menu bar of the dashboard.

Role of users

Users can be either the people to work on the app development or the ones who use the apps as end users. Once someone is a user of the team, they can access the app with the granted permissions of their role.

There are three available roles you can choose to assign your new users to:

  • Owner: The assigned user has the same role as you, they can add new apps, edit or delete apps, and manage the users of the team.

  • Editor: Assigned users can edit all your apps, however, they cannot add a new app.

  • Viewer: Assigned users can only view and use the apps as end users.

Invite users

Invite from Users dashboard

To invite a user to join your workplace:

  • In the tab Users, click on the + Invite button.

  • Input their address by typing their email addresses, then separate them by a single command.

  • Assign the users a role

  • Click Send Invite.

Invite on app publishing

You also can invite people to join your app when you are at the step of publishing the app:

  • Click the Publish button

  • In the dropdown, go to Invite your team member field, and enter an email

  • Click the invite button to send the invitation.

When inviting people from the Publish dropdown, the default role for the invited is Viewer.

Manage invitation

After sending the invitation, you can follow if they accept the link and join your team.

  • Name is shown or a blank: the users accepted and joined the team

  • The name is shown as "Pending invitation": the users haven't joined the team yet.

On the other hand, once you click to send an invitation, people in the list will receive a notification via their mailbox. They will have to click on the link to accept your invitation to access the apps.

Users must accept their invitation from their mailbox, otherwise, they will not be able to access the apps and marked as "Pending Invitation".

Change user role

Only the owner can change other member's roles.

To change the role of an existing user:

  • Hover over their name, then click the Change Role button

  • Choose a new role and click Update.

Remove users

Only the owner can remove users

To remove someone from your team, hover over their name and click the Change Role button

When clicking on 'Remove', you will receive a confirmation notification. Click on Remove to confirm your action.
