What is Google Drive integration?

Google Drive integration connects your apps with Google Drive to store all the documents and media files uploaded to your app in one folder of your Drive.

Google Drive integration helps you to create backup storage with real-time synchronization with your apps for important documents and media files.

Benefits of Google Drive integration

  • Enhance security: storing your app's data in Google Drive offers robust security features, including encryption, two-factor authentication, and advanced sharing controls.

  • Streamline workflow: By connecting your apps with Google Drive, you eliminate the need for manual file uploads and transfers. All documents and media files are automatically synced, saving time and reducing the risk of errors.

  • Access and retrieve with ease: With Google Drive integration, all your app's data is stored in one centralized location, making it easy to access and retrieve files whenever needed.

Integrate Google Drive with AppAlloy

  • From the dashboard, in the Apps tab, hover over your app and click Edit to open the app editor.

  • In the app editor, switch to the Integration tab

  • On the right sidebar, click the + button

  • In the integration list, find Google Drive and click the Connect button.

  • Execute the authentication steps required by Google to verify the integration.

  • For Path to Save, enter the name of the folder you want to be the place to save your app data.

    • If your Drive already has had that order, AppAlloy will detect it as storage.

    • If there is no folder with that name in your Drive, AppAlloy will automatically create one when you upload the 1st files after enabling the integration.

  • Click Save to complete setting up the integration.

This integration works immediately once you upload any files using your app.
